Auto lighting is an essential component of a car, offering both lighting and signaling purposes. It is available in a variety of designs and types depending on its position in the vehicle, such as a head lamp, tail lamp, fog lamp, turning signal lamp, grille lamp, license plate lamp, and room lamp. Most lamps produce a lot of heat while working and are in close contact with the outside environment; therefore, breathable goods are required for lamps to equalize pressure induced by temperature changes.

Fogging is another typical issue with lamps. When the temperature drops below the dew point, the air inside the lamp cannot contain the water vapor, which condenses into liquid water on the lamp shell. The key to preventing lamp fogging is to manage the water vapor and enable it to diffuse and flow away. This concerns one of the membrane's major parameters: moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR). Traditional breathable membrane vendors can only provide membranes with one or two MVTRs, however Sinceriend provides membranes with numerous MVTR levels.

Sinceriend offers three types of waterproof adhesive vents: grey, blue, and white. Grey Adhesive Vent is made of 100% ePTFE and has excellent thermal and chemical resilience. It can be installed in headlights, taillights, and fog lights. Blue Adhesive Vent is made of ePTFE and Nylon and has a higher air permeability than the grey one. White Adhesive Vent provides a better waterproof level and more consistent air permeability.
