Introduction
The essential component of an electronically controlled vehicle is the Engine Controller Unit (ECU), which constantly monitors and manages the engine's routine operations. The ECU evaluates and calculates the air-fuel mixture ratio and engine ignition advance angle using data from several sensors, such as the MAP sensor, throttle position sensor, air temperature sensor, and oxygen sensor. It monitors and controls the engine's fuel supply, fuel injection timing, ignition closing angle, engine idle operation, and other vehicle accessory systems in real time to ensure the best energy conversion rate. ECUs have complicated structures and are exposed to harsh conditions during operation, necessitating particular protection. For example, due to frequent temperature variations in the working environment caused by the heat dissipation of the controller's electronic components, venting items must be utilized to not only dissipate heat but also equalize pressure. The specific standards for venting products are as follows:
Large air permeability.
High IP rating.
Long-term heat resistance.
Resistant to salt fog corrosion.
Sinceriend screw-in vents provide high air permeability, excellent sealing performance, a high IP rating, a long heat resistance period, and resistance to salt fog and chemical corrosion. Sinceriend screw-in vent is built with high WEP and precision welding technology to achieve an IP rating of IP67, IP68, and IP69K; the case materials are Nylon and ePTFE, which have been certified by many OEMs and mainstream standards and can provide solid protection for the ECU.
