Normally it helps the enclosure to breath; but when the pressure reaches the critical point, it breaks the membrane to release a large number of air, by this way it releases the great pressure of the inside and prevents explosion from happening or lower the damage from explosion.

The service life of the explosion-proof valve can exceed 10 years, and the protection level can still reach IP67 after the service life test.

When the internal pressure of the car battery reaches 80Kpa, the alarm will get to work to prevent explosion immediately.
