1. A piece of paper dipped in water can be used for about 10 days if it is slightly damaged.

2. Scrub the damaged part of the waterproof and breathable membrane, cut a membrane without a hole slightly larger than the damaged part, stick it on the hole with water, and drain the air between the two membranes.

3. Use white flour and water to make a paste, then add red enamel equivalent to 1/3 of the weight of dry flour, and heat it slightly to repair the film. The removed waterproof and breathable membrane should be repaired. If the thick film is damaged, it can be covered with a film of the same texture, and connected with a thin wire and a tight connection. You can also clean up the damaged part, cover the hole with a slightly larger film, cover with 2-3 layers of newspaper, and then gently iron along the seam with an electric iron. The two layers of film will be heated to melt, then cooled to stick together. This method is called hot patching.

4. Clean the area around the hole, dip it with a brush, and apply special glue. After 3-5 minutes, take a waterproof and breathable membrane with the same texture and stick it on it. After the glue dries, it can be glued on. Both heat patching and adhesive patching work well, but seam patching not only leaks air, but is also prone to tearing.
