Appearance inspection: Check the surface of the pressure relief vent regularly to see if there are obvious signs of corrosion, deformation, cracks or damage. Pay special attention to valves, seals and connections to ensure that their appearance is intact and there is no structural damage due to mechanical collision, chemical erosion, etc. This can preliminarily determine whether they can work properly.
Sealing test: When the equipment is operating normally and there is no pressure abnormality, check whether there is gas or liquid leakage when the vent is closed. You can use a professional leak detector or apply soapy water to the seal to observe whether bubbles are generated. If a leak is found, it is necessary to repair or replace the sealing parts in time to ensure the sealing of the pressure relief vent when the pressure is normal.
Pressure setting value review: Calibrate the pressure setting value regularly according to the equipment operation requirements. Use professional pressure testing equipment to simulate pressure changes and check whether the pressure when the vent is opened is consistent with the set value. If the pressure setting value is inaccurate, too high or too low may affect the safety of the equipment. Once a deviation is found, the setting value must be readjusted according to the standard process.
