ePTFE is a new type of waterproof and breathable material, its chemical name is expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE fine powder resin). The mesh structure forms micropores of 0.1-1.0 microns, the pore size is 10,000 times smaller than water droplets and 700 times larger than water vapor molecules, which can not only provide long-term and reliable blocking of water, oil and other liquids, but also allow air to pass easily. At the same time, the mesh-like three-dimensional structure formed by the microporous channels in the membrane makes the dust meet the barrier and achieves an effective dust-proof effect. The smallest size can capture 0.1 micron particles.


Sinceriend waterproof vent has three functions

Waterproof: 0.1-1.0 micron micropores, the pore size is 10,000 times smaller than water droplets, so that water cannot pass through, effectively protecting sensitive parts, avoiding liquid erosion, and improving product service life.

Breathable: The pore size of the micropores is 700 times larger than that of water vapor. While waterproof, it allows air to pass smoothly, which can effectively dissipate heat, prevent the inner wall of the product from fogging, and balance the air pressure inside and outside the space.

Dustproof: The microporous channels form a mesh-like three-dimensional structure in the membrane, and the even and dense micropores are distributed, so that the dust encounters a barrier and achieves an effective dustproof effect.
