Classification of waterproof and breathable valve materials

Metal materials: Metal materials such as stainless steel, aluminum alloy, etc. have excellent corrosion resistance and strength and are one of the commonly used materials for waterproof and breathable valves. Stainless steel materials also have good anti-rust properties and can maintain stable performance in various environments. However, the cost of metal materials is relatively high.

Plastic materials: Plastic materials such as polycarbonate, polyvinyl chloride, etc. have the advantages of light weight, low cost, corrosion resistance, etc., and are widely used in the production of waterproof and breathable valves. Among them, polycarbonate has high transparency and is suitable for applications that require visual observation. However, the strength and high temperature resistance of plastic materials are relatively poor.

Composite materials: Composite materials combine the advantages of metal and plastic materials, such as corrosion resistance, high strength, and good transparency. Commonly used composite materials include glass fiber reinforced plastics, carbon fiber reinforced plastics, etc. These materials have good overall performance, but the cost is relatively high.
